During the Shrieval Elections sometimes we Firebirds are left at a loose end while our Phoenix partners do their stuff in Guildhall, before joining them for lunch, and sometimes we’re not invited at all.
It’s time to change all that ….

You are invited to a wonderful social morning whilst the voting is carried out. It starts from 11am, most people need a coffee and a comfort break around then; and finishes around 1pm. The Masters then break away to go to lunch in various Livery Halls.
Come and join us in the Anthologist for coffee, tea or drinks and meet old friends, make new whilst the voting ensues. Stay for lunch – it’s an option many will take. There is no ticket price to pay, as we will pay for ourselves, as we go. We will be arriving around 11am.
The Anthologist is on Gresham Street, very close to the entrance to Guildhall Yard – it’s the one with all the flowers outside.
All we would like to know is whether you are attending or not, so that we can book a good-sized area to accommodate us. Please reply to this invitation if you wish to attend.
