We use Social media to write about activities and promote events. Depending on your settings or the privacy policies for Social media and messaging services (Messenger, WhatsApp), you might give permission to access information from those services.

  • Information available publicly

We have access to information from publicly available sources such as charity websites, company websites, Social media accounts, Companies House and other. This information helps to create a better understanding of someone’s interests.

The Firebirds MCA use your personal information to provide you with the information and services you asked for. Where needed, we support fundraising activities, including Gift Aid information.
 

The information we keep about you help us to respond to your requests and queries you make to us.
 

We use your information to manage our events. The records we keep are updated with your newest contact details to send you correspondence and communicate with you.
 

The administrator of our website may perform data analysis, generate statistics and surveys. The website content should be displayed to you according to the device you are using (mobile, computer, tablet). The website visitor location, website traffic and other can be monitored.
 

Further, we use personal information to meet legal obligations – to carry out fraud prevention and money laundering checks.

As a membership organisation we only process data for the purposes of managing and renewing membership, collecting membership fees and communicating with members about events and fundraising activities, including sending them an e-newsletter. More detailed information:

We send key information about our activities. When you ask for details about an event, we will send you updates including ideas for fundraising.
 

Where you have registered with a third-party platform and started fundraising, we may contact you with information and support for your fundraising for the event.

Our marketing communications include information about our newest events, activities related to philanthropy, donations and other support.
 

 We may include information from partner organisations supporting us in our efforts and campaigns.  Your consent is important. When you opt-in to receive marketing material, we sent emails, newsletters and similar. We may record the activities you have been involved with, to tailor our written communications and send you a newsletter meeting your interests.

We make it easy for you to tell us how you want us to communicate, in a way that suits you.
 

You can choose how you communicate with us. You can easily choose to complete an online form or write an email.
